George C. Hill Ph.D. is the Founder and President of Leadership Excellence, LLC.  He is also Levi Watkins Jr. M.D. Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Professor Emeritus  in Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology and Medical Education and Administration at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He also served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Multicultural Affairs and Special Assistant to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs. From 2002-2011, he served as Associate Dean for Diversity in Medical Education at Vanderbilt.


Dr. Hill was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies in 1998 and a Fellow of the Academy of Microbiology in 2002.
